Il dibattito interno all’area degli studi economici circa la valutazione è ben noto agli economisti, meno ai componenti le altre aree disciplinari. Si tratta di una discussione di grande interesse per le ricadute della valutazione sul pluralismo della disciplina, il che si ripercuote a sua volta sulle politiche economiche del Paese. (Fonte: G. The panel thinks that this first research evaluation exercise has been remarkably successful in processing a large number of products in relatively short period. Further, despite the large amount of heterogeneity among the products and the diverging views held by some Panelists, the consensus has been achieved unanimously for 99% of the products of the Statistics/Econometrics consensus group, 97% of products of the Management/Finance consensus group, and 72% of the products of the Economics consensus group. Even when consensus was not unanimous, in most cases the dissenting view was that of only one panelist, most often Pasinetti, whose dissenting arguments are presented in Appendix 4 to this report.
